Reservation Fee Contract

Puppies are available on a first-come-first-served basis.

We do not accept reservations solely based on color preferences!

*Please note that we do not hold puppies without a signed Reservation Fee Contract.*

***By submitting a reservation fee, you are agreeing to our Pet Contract, even if you haven't reviewed or signed it yet. Please ensure to carefully read both the Reservation Fee Contract and Pet Contract.***

To reserve a puppy, please reach out to us via phone or email! 

We'll complete the reservation fee form on your behalf, simplifying the process for you. Just review, sign, and return it along with a $350 payment.​

​

If you opt to pay for a puppy upfront in full, you'll still need to complete and sign both the Reservation Fee Contract and the Pet Contract and send them in. This ensures your understanding of all our terms and conditions regarding our puppies. Upon receiving both signed contracts, we will mark the puppy as sold, securing them exclusively for your family.

Pet Contract

***We require a signed copy of the Pet Contract before releasing the puppy to go home with you.***​

Once you've signed the Pet Contract, no alterations can be made. Please feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns before signing.

​

All our dogs will be microchipped and registered with ASDR before departure, included in the price. They will also come with registration paperwork and vaccination/preventative records.

 

RedTree Ridge will complete the registration paperwork and submit it for processing. Kindly provide us with a call name and registered name, along with your information, for the registration paperwork. If a registered name is not provided, we will select one for you.

***Important: Our kennel name (RedTree Ridge) must be kept on the registered name.***

RedTree Ridge will supply a puppy welcome bag upon pickup, including items such as a blanket or toy, a sample of their food, information on genetic diseases. A copy of the pet contract and vet records will be sent via email.

Show & Breeding Contract

***A puppy will not be sold under a Show & Breeding Contract unless it has been pre-discussed with RedTree Ridge and both the Buyer and RedTree Ridge have signed the Show & Breeding Contract.***

Breeding rights are an additional option and are subject to the individual puppy, ranging in price from $350 to $600. However, not all puppies are eligible for breeding.​​

The Show & Breeding Contract will be provided solely to those deemed responsible breeders after evaluation.

Stud Service Contract

At this time, we do not offer stud services.

However, we may be able to assist you in finding a suitable stud dog. For more information on this service, please contact us via phone or email. Please inform us about your female dog and indicate what you're looking for in a stud. We'll be glad to assist you further. ​

ASDR Registration Papers

To receive your puppy's registration papers, full payment is required at the time of pickup. The papers will be finalized during the pickup process

Full – breeding rights

Limited – pet only, no breeding rights

Price Ranges

Pricing is for spay/neuter (Pet Contract) only!

All pricing includes microchip & registration of a puppy.

Our pricing is determined by factors such as color, markings, eye color, conformation, and overall quality. Eye color may take at least six weeks to determine and is not guaranteed. Prices are subject to change without prior notice if a reservation fee is not secured.

How Do I Place a Reservation Fee on a Puppy?

  • Reservation Fee Amount: The fee is $350, regardless of the puppy’s total price.

  • Puppy Application: You must complete a puppy application to help us match you with the right puppy for your family and lifestyle.

  • Reservation Fee Contract: A signed Reservation Fee Contract is required to reserve a puppy. This contract is available on our "Contracts, Policies & Pricing" page.

  • Payment Timeline: We allow 72 hours for your reservation fee to arrive via mail. Without a signed contract and payment, we cannot reserve the puppy, and you will forfeit your reservation fee.

Do I Need to Place a Reservation Fee Today?

  • No, but puppy selections are made in the order reservation fees are received.

  • Important: Reservation fees hold a puppy until they are 7 weeks old. By that time, you must arrange to pay the full agreed amount (if not paying in cash) to continue the hold. Otherwise, the puppy will become available again.

Are Reservation Fees Refundable or Transferable?

  • Non-Refundable: Reservation fees are non-refundable under any circumstances.

  • Transferable: Fees can be transferred to another available puppy or the next litter, but only once.

    • Transferred fees receive the 3rd pick of the next litter unless earlier picks are available.

    • Transfers are valid only for the next litter.

  • This policy prevents long waiting lists and ensures serious adopters have a fair chance at a puppy.

Can I Reserve a Puppy Before They Are Born?

  • This is possible on a case-by-case basis, depending on the dam’s due date.

  • A limited number of pre-birth reservations are accepted due to uncertainties like litter size, colors, and sexes.

  • Specify at least two coat colors or confirm willingness to adopt the opposite sex if your preference is unavailable.

Flexibility Encouraged

  • The more open you are about traits like size, sex, or color, the more likely you are to find a match quickly.

  • Our focus is on health and temperament, not aesthetic traits. If you have highly specific criteria, we may not be the right breeder for you.

Puppy Selection Process

  • Puppy picks are made in the order reservation fees are received, starting around 7 weeks of age.

  • Families are matched with puppies based on temperament and suitability, not solely on appearance.

​

First-Come, First-Serve Policy

  • Puppies are reserved on a first-come, first-serve basis.

  • If multiple inquiries are made about the same puppy, we notify the first interested person and provide a time frame for their decision. Others are informed of the status and placed in line accordingly.

What Happens if My Reservation Fee Is in Transit?

  • If your reservation fee is on the way and another fee arrives first for the same puppy, we will honor our commitment to you, provided your fee and signed contract arrive within the 72-hour window.

RedTree Ridge's First Pick Policy

  • We reserve the right to keep the first pick of every litter before customer selections begin.

  • Customer picks follow in order: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd based on reservation fees received.

  • We prioritize clear communication to avoid confusion or disappointment.

  • Our goal is to ensure you make the best decision for your family and provide each puppy with a loving home.
